More Cruel Than Death
Your selfish love tore me apart,
A silent pain whips my heart.
My beauty shall not grow again,
With passing time youth was done,
I am no more like summer sun,
You walked away gave me pain,
My love for you, all went in vain,
Your memories, wish I had none.
Like a tree all bare,
Lost, I fear in wilderness
My golden days too shall pass
Regrets will die too
I didn't know your love could be
Hurtful, more cruel than death.
