Mind the Paint
MIND THE PAINT
I know the world may never see
The looks of my mind, how could it be
But if you could simply take a look
It would be like reading an open book
You would see words floating around
And wonder if my mind is sound
Well let me tell you in poetic form
It's like the calm before the storm
You would see colors of every shade
Like a rainbow God may have made
You would see lots of happiness and joy
Beginning when I was just a boy
You would see sadness, sorrow, pain
Enough to make one go insane
But as you read this open book
You may be glad you took a look
You would see how I overcame the bad
The shame, the guilt and pain I had
By the grace of God one thing you'll see
Is my home in heaven for eternity
