Merry Solstice Bells
Sung to the tune of "Winter Wonderland"
Merry Solstice Bells
Deck the halls, hang some holly
‘Cause it’s time for sport and folly
Winter is here
Let’s be of good cheer
Ringing out the Merry Solstice Bells
Gather ‘round the blazing fire
Tell the wind what you desire
Dancing with glee
While trimming a tree
Ringing out the Merry Solstice Bells
We will go a-wassailing together
Wishing everyone we meet much joy
Rosy cheeked, we don’t mind the weather
Singing now for every girl and boy
Even though it is snowin’
Still our hearts are a-glowin’
The stars shine so bright
On this happy night
Ringing out the Merry Solstice Bells
A beautiful evening in December
Drinking cider, mulled wine and beer
Let’s toast to the sun’s dying ember
Knowing that it soon will reappear
Even though it’s so cold dear
Say goodbye to the old year
The best’s yet to come
Play the fife, beat a drum
Ringing out the Merry Solstice Bells
