Linnie Mae Ethel

Linnie Mae Ethel you were christened. I never knew you by that name. No one ever called you Linnie. Now that really is a shame. I surmise you didn't like it, Ethel is the name you used. Mother is the name I called you, And all others I refused. Even Daddy called you Mother. Ethel too with love infused. Total strangers called you Mrs. Hoping you would like that best. Each and every name but Mother Lacked the flavor of our nest. Written: 3/23/15

Nice dedication to you Mother, Joyce. Yes, in older days, "Mother" as mom's name was used more frequently by children and spouse. Nice poem, and congratulations on your win. Hugs, Sandra

Awww, lovely tribute to a lovely lady. Sending you a big get well hug, Joyce - so glad the dog was friendly, at least. Scary, though, just the same! Have a relaxing day, my friend xx
