Not to be over-critical, but the word you need here is 'affect'. The effect of karma is its affect on you. Otherwise, it is cleverly written.

I am not a religious scholar, I leave that to God. :) But I do think there's a lesson here. Good, bad or odd. :)

what a clever way to approach the theme. I kind of like the reincarnation idea but who can say for sure about that? I just think it's natural Karma will bite you in the behind if you have done evil! (maybe in the next life if not THIS one)

I like the idea sonebody does wrong, i can't get revenge, it will happen. Next life is up to God, heaven or wherever. To get blindsided for something from past life I don't even know I did is most unfair. Some things just happen. I would like karma like in pay it forward. My guilt and Judgement Day will take care of the rest lol. Who knows... Thanks for commenting.

Susan...I love the reading the pantoum form as it is not an easy one to write and have it flow, but it appears you have it whipped. Great write. Love it!

This is a really beautiful written poem, I was looking for the examples of pantoum poems and i m glad that I come across this one, Karma is a hindu belief, that our actions is one life affect our next life, all Hindus believe it ( I m not Hindu) but the strange thing is that this concept isn t in their books, their scholars made it coz they couldn t answer how one can be rich, while other poor, one handsome, other black, one fien other disable, so they come up with this idea

Thank you, Faraz, for reading and input. I see what you are saying, and before now I was all into the what goes around comes around, then I started thinking why even bother if bad karma from previous life was going to get me :) I need keep it simple and you can't go wrong with just doing the next right thing... Life stuff is always going to happen. It's how we handle it that matters. Good luck with you pantoum. They are fun.

Wonderfully meaningful pantoum ... The music couldn't affect the serious karma theme ... Great ...

A great Pantoum, Susan. Your poem brings forth many questions about 'karma' versus free will and rules to influence our free will. Well done, and GL with the contest. Hugs, Sandra
