Write Nine Beautiful Lines (With a Twist ) Poetry Contest - Sponsored by: Constance La France

Beautiful are folk with hearts of gold Unsightly are those with hearts stone cold Take some time to learn of someone's worth You may get major surprise of earth Women don’t need to be dressed in lace A man doesn’t need a handsome face Just to be a compassionate soul A person who fits the friendship role Would you befriend me, an aging droll?

Dear Beryl, So much wisdom in your beautiful words woven here in such a soulfully meaningful manner! I agree with your opening lines especially and i have a special place in my heart for those that are kind and have a beautiful heart and one that selflessly gives! I also agree with “ Women don’t need to be dressed in lace A man doesn’t need a handsome face Just to be a compassionate soul ” so true! And profound! Pleasure reading your poem today! Sending you light always

Brother John, you’ll always be my friend too, it was eleven years ago that we met. You, Magicman and me, us three with our Limericks we had such fun, especially on the run up to Christmas each December, I’ll always remember… Sis Beryl ( Alan is not good. )
