I like the feelings conveyed by the speaker of the poem, a touch of anger. There is a good sense of bargaining and pleading.

I like your poem’s ambiguity; are you directing your words to a person who has perhaps wronged you in a relationship or indeed life itself? Great to read you back at The Soup Line. The tureen has leaked much talent recently. Cheers - Gary

there can be so many expectations also conflict in a relationship - a poem many can relate to Line - have missed seeing you around but many regulars are missing now:-( hugs jan xx
