If I Die Tonight My Message To Be
If I die tonight my message to be
With it’s grace I clearly see
an escape in Zephaniah 2;3
In this life that I reside
humbled and sometimes I pride
I have my morals ethics provide
Both written and unwritten laws required
This life so long death eludes me
The grace for laws religion accuses me
I cannot find words for this mercy
Except for my Lord made it His courtesy
For God so loved the world this way
to pardon me for the life I display
You ask me why I believe this invisible force
where many don't believe the invisible course
I cannot explain when I hear His voice
they think I imagine but I have no choice
The spirit beside me, inside me lives
only I know when it gives and what it gives
Not only salvation come to me
but the promise by my side He will always be
Though troubles like David encompass
I just like David pray and believe
Not rare is this gift given me
the old still faithful that bend the knee
Those that hide in their righteousness
that we see their parents did not confess
In the book of Zephaniah would rest there
The answer to the question not declared
For muslims and jews everywhere
A would be a hiding place there
On that day of The Lord it shall be
