Humpty Dumpty
"Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall,
All the kings horses and all the kings men,
couldn't put humpty together again."
They called him an egg,
for he was round and glee,
They laughed at his nose
so very big and ugly.
They called him names,
Humpty Dumpty was sad
They threw rotten eggs
and it made Humpty mad.
His mother would comfort
she said he was unique
Don't mind those kids,
Don't care what they think
You are meant to be
Much more that your look
A rush of confidence
is all that it took
Humpty Dumpty got smart
the smartest of them all
Up on his high horse
he would never fall
He accomplished a lot
as he rode to the top
his super ego charged,
it would never stop
He ruled over the land
with strong fists and war
He took from the good
and from the bad he took more
Humpty Dumpty terrible king
He in fact was very mean
Mother came to him one day
"you're the worst I've seen"
Her visit made him sad
regret spread across his face
He climbed his castle wall
and gazed over his ruling place
He took a breath full of despair
he was rotten to the core
His ego landed and down he fell,
shattered forever more.
All the kings men gathered
to see Humpty Dumpty crying loud
He had yolk on his face
oh this egghead was not proud
He renounced his leadership
and started a chicken farm
He stayed away from others
so he would never cause harm
But he could hear them laughing
he was scrambled inside
It boiled him deeply
until the day he was fried.
