Holy Teardrops Bat Man
Slipping through an alley
I never even had a plan.
The first time that I saw him.
The one they call Bat Man.
Standing in the shadows
he stirred up all my fears.
With that creepy stare of his
and those two pointed ears.
I asked does he leap tall buildings?
I said I am a fan.
He told me that I'm confused
that he's not Super Man.
I told him I was sorry
as I stumbled for my lighter.
Nervously I smiled at him
do you climb walls like a spider?
He said no and looked away
Bat Man is my name!
Oh I said without a care
he looked away in shame.
How is it then that you fight crime
you can't climb and there's no flying?
He drove off in his Bat Mobile
and I saw Bat Man crying.
