Space me out, spread and stretch my wings Graft me onto the aerial view to be snapped open feathered eyes to elongate, excavate skies to subterranean, conclave indecision, restless waiting Eye to eye, we look for similarities, sniff out those who smell right, add up the infinite to blow our brains, paint over cracks, stack what we have, await a tumble. Scream only when underwater: why the gaps, why the gaps, as rivers rush uphill, whilst our brains invert to fix the eye's problem. If you wander, keep to the edges, life is full. There are steps, levels, summits; double-backing is the issue - the world falls away, falls in that way, again. We’ll explain the mysteries, track movement, label the entities, put the groundwork in; affect vision, get them all looking down - look at ourselves, we're boxed and ready. Push on with the next round; paper bags hold all you own. Concentrate so it doesn't tear or tip - you must get home, it's the object of the game. Before we know it, limbs are bent, we examine just the ground beneath us; until we drop into the hole, forgetting there was a sky and we had wings.

It's a psychedelic from a cactus but yes this was from the mescaline experiments - it's all quite fascinating

I see that in the title, he must've been on mescaline (acid) at the time. Gotta research that 4 sure- 4 sure! lol

Robert Nick Gorelick hey, same last name as none other than Kenny G! I did the graphic designs on the covers of his book and 3 others! The books are on Amazon! Beryl's lims are there too! She'll be in his up & coming "Kitty Limerick Circus" I'm designing the book cover as well. ;) see RG's "Gothic Pets" Collab I designed the cover just for Halloween, his real book & cover out soon. Yes it's so tricky to locate a good body of his poetic works though in English. Even the library only has it as special reading room stuff. Such an interesting character - particularly as a shy teetotaller to venture into drug experimentation in the name of art. Aww I remember Wen being thrilled about the poem about Brix! Thanks for you comment x

Not only has my brain been inverted but also turned inside out, maybe it’s a sketch of a thought trying to expand after budding off from itself, you can certainly see so much further into these beyond abstract pieces Dilly, takes a subconscious mind to interpret them, I just checked out Henri Michaux apparently he was also a poet, have you read any of his works, you are absolutely fearless when it comes to tackling the seemingly impossible! cheers David

I literally discovered the artist yesterday morning and found the whole concept exciting (but certainly not something I'd do!). The poetry is tricky to come by but I read what I could find and liked it. I have a strong playful/devilment streak which I think uninhibits me (to an extent) when flowing with subconscious ideas. It probably helps that I know next to nothing of the universes laws, so can just plough on with whatever comes to mind. Thanks for commenting in this way - I always worry it'll generate a few "are you ok?" concerns when the poetry all goes a bit weird haha
