Lovely poem Karen. I tend to wake from my dreams with ideas for poems and have to write them down before I forget them. :). Cheers - Gary

Nice lullaby. Not all are ever so gracious to we night-owls. Once, it was my hearts desire to be bereft of all desire but who can argue with heavenly Streets of Gold! A heart-spring that quenches the thirst for recognition - the familiar - "Family". It's just a matter of remembering Our True Name. We are the Earth and the Moon sings: "Good night".

With the introduction of other religions in America today ( like Buddhism, Animism, etc), confluence and confusion can become the "dis-order of the day". ~ I enjoy being "cute" which is "a•musement" from the Greek "a•muse" which means "Not Thinking", but it's also synonymous with "Fun" or the Christian concept of "Joy". ~ "Let no man steal your Fun"!

Dear Karen, This is A very well-inked slumber poem. I love to dream and remember some of those dreams especially in the morning hours. Your words open up the many memories of those slumbers. - Autumn Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Wow sorry to hear that. Do you sleep with the tv on or music playing? Maybe soft music will help and tv may hinder.
