I look at stars in sky of midnight blue
Moonlight and roses remind me of you
I see and hear you in all sorts of things
In the babbling brooks, rivers, streams and springs.
Birdsong in the morning, droplets of dew
White clouds passing by, and bright sunshine too
In the patter of soft showers of rain
In the rendition of a sweet refrain.
In spring when fresh leaves upon trees appear
The summer that fills humans hearts with cheer
Autumn that paints the world red, rust and gold
Fireside in winter when weather is cold.
Singing carols at Christmas, sung with joy
For the birth of the world's sweet baby boy
Celebrating with family and friends
A special time when peace on earth transcends.
The laughter of children at play outside
Sight of a groom and adorable bride
All things remind me of my mother’s love
Gilded in gold dust from fairies above.
