Friends Childrens Story

FRIENDS This story begin's with Tommy the turtle he was brown and big green with yellow spots on his back.He was always talking to himself because he didn't know how to make friends.A rabbit crossed the field where Tommy lived. Tommy looked up and ask him"what is your name"the rabbit looked back at Tommy and said"don't speak to me your not a rabbit like me".Tommy said"I know I'm not a rabbit I would like us to be friends".Tommy walked over to him and said"HI my name is Tommy whats yours".He said"mine is Cotton"after that they became best friends. They went every where together and done everything together.They played,ate,fished and swam together.One day they were walking down the road and both of them at the same time seen a farmer. Cotton said"run Tommy"he ran one way Tommy went the other way. When Tommy stopped running he noticed Cotton was nowhere in sight.So Tommy started walking up the road calling Cotton's name.Tommy went to the pond and ask the fish there if they seen his friend Cotton. They told him no he said"ok thanks".As Tommy walked he saw a squirrel and asked him if he had seen his friend Cotton.The squirrel said"NO"but was curious and wondered where Cotton was.He told Tommy my name is Jesse can I help you find your friend. They both started walking down the road calling Cotton's name.Jesse climbed a tree and said"Hey Tommy I see a farm"Tommy said"mabee the animals know something "as they started across the field they saw a cow and ask her if she'd seen there friend she said no but you both should check the farm. Tommy said"thanks we will. So they started walking toward the farm.Tommy was so sad because he had finally found a friend only to lose him.Tommy knew he wasn't giving up on his friend.Him and Jesse walked down to the farm and over to the barn. They pulled the barn doors open and inside there was Cotton in a cage.He had hurt his foot and Tommy and Jesse knew they had to get Cotton out of that cage.The cage had a large latch on the top but Tommy told Jesse you watch for the farmer and I'll find a big stick to reach the latch. Tommy got a long stick reach up unlatched the cage.Yeah Cotton is free his foot was hurt but Tommy was there to help him.Tommy,Cotton,Jesse were all so happy.They were all going to be best of friends now.
