Falling Star

The moon awaken me one night while shinning on me as I looked out my window to see a wonderful sight in the distant sky was a falling star. Written 6-23-11

Oooooo! Quick! Make a wish! I love looking at the night sky. Here in the Great North we have the Northern Lights that play in the Autumn sky at night. It's so lovely. Good job here my friend. God Bless, JB

An awesome sight indeed. Nice write, James, although i would like to see your lines cut a different way, in order to bring out a rhyming scheme. For ex, "the moon awakened me/one night/as it was shining on me/so bright. (perhaps another stanza here) I looked out my window to see/a wonderful sight/rarely seen/up in the distant sky/a falling star. Just a suggestion. Thanks for sharing. Caroline.
