Desolate

moon rise, dusk be gone… iris’ flooding for light shards edges of darkness press tight, just passed bright sails folded. silver rush bathes glistening eyes alone again… heart shine dimmed once more ~ last time …this time ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ desolate

Touching the heart & the mind’s eye. You pen a natural talent & your lov of language here. A wonderful read despite the despair. The light of day helps. Most everyone will relate to this. I did like how the scene around the narratir was of a similar take. Bless you! sally

Darkness is soothing, but can hold sadness too. I suppose it depends on your point of view and mood. So beautifully written and presented, Arlo. ~ Brandy
