Into the lake another pebble was tossed
Its ripples mar the tranquility of my life
Perhaps another kind friend, suddenly lost
to this daughter, mother, and twice a wife
Darkness veils my eyes, flowing with teary
waterfalls spilling, for I've grown so weary
Escape the world, according to Lin, not Garp
Poetry gives way to blood lines, woes... throes
Play no strings of sadness upon a golden harp
Nonchalant I long to be, quietly in peace to doze
Out of touch in a realm with no burdens to bear
No barking, no biting. Don't search for me there
