Choices
There it was, the choices made
The results of the once thought wise moments.
What are the fruits of the choices?
Broken bones and shattered hearts
Puffed eyes and fearful souls
Angered motives and sinful speech.
Was it worth it? was it not?
Just believe, learn to understand the said.
It will all work out, you will find peace they said.
It can be different for you.
I thought I would be free
I would be happy I so believed.
So convinced that I would love my life
because it would be mine.
Also because - I will never hurt you , someone said
you will not feel like the others someone said.
But so much for such a cruel joke called destiny.
And all that was said.
