lol Lin. The last glass of red wine I has was 1/2 glass on my birthday in January! I drink alcohol so rarely these days:-) hugs jan xx

It works, indeed. Red wine spilled at our housewarming party on the cream carpet, friend went home to get box of salt, and voila, no stain!

I'm told salt or white wine on red wine stains does the trick - but of course the best thing is not to spill it in the first place!:-) hugs Jan xx
