Beware the Ringing of the Bells – Vampires

I came to the cemetery on Christmas in my night dream it is snowing big fluffing snowflakes everything is white foggy and enchanting then, I hear the jingle of bells and quiet voices drifting in the wind it is creepy eerie the bells mysterious the cemetery is dark death the statues blank eyes watch me the dark headstones misty disturbing snow is falling blowing swirling twirling dancing I can feel the mood deep in my bones it is haunting, echoing, enthralling the bells tinkle chime clang on and on in my nightmare they are both frightening and beautifully dark I wake to snow falling and church bells ringing

Dreamy and mystical, Constance with a touch of haunted mystery. I love the way you blended your dream with the sound of bells in the dawn. I very much like the formatting! Congratulations on your win! Advent blessings, and sweet dreams, to you. Two candles to go!

Beautiful, Constance, and haunting. I love how the snow imagery is wondrous and yet in contrast is the bell with its sweet tinkle and then it’s clang.Love the ending too. We oft are somewhere between our nightmares and the reality of daytime. Congratulations, Constance, on your placement!

kind of eerie, a bit nightmarish poem about bells..It's effective however, and I liked it.

Very nicely done Constance with a touch of Poe's repetitive eeriness to boot.
