A Romance For Valentines
In my heart lives a rose
That is forever in bloom
Its sweet beauty grows
When you enter the room.
The rose fragrance tells me
of its romantic intent
Such wonderful beauty
must be heaven sent
I lie here dreaming of you.
I am a wild rambling rose
Thorns on my vine
but hurt I do not impose
From this heart of mine
Though I am a man
Prone to impediment
With all that am
I swear to repent
I lie here dreaming of you.
My beautiful rose
I love you so much
Love inside me grows
with your every touch
I treasure your beauty
and of me you are part
You become more precious to me
With every beat of my heart
I lie here dreaming of you.
