A Joy To See
Observing kindness, can bring one such joy.
Kindness to his mom, by a little boy.
Moms on the couch, all tired and unhappy.
The child asks, “does mommy need a nappy?
The family next door has four active boys.
They’re all under six, they make lots of noise.
A neighbor saw the mother was worn out,
offered to take them for a walk-about.
I saw a man asking, “what’s the matter?”
The boys then told him, “we have no ladder,
Our football got stuck up in that oak tree.”
“That’s not too high for me, I’ll get it free.”
When people or being like they should be,
The kind things they do is a joy to see.
