A Fissure of Color

A Fissure of Color She lay the cloth against her head A cloth of silk and silken hair To wear a bonnet , brilliant gold Priceless gems to adorn her ears Earrings of an emerald green To blend in color with her eyes And exult in jubilation The impetus begins to stir Inducing blue and blazing red Vicarious, she greets the change A colored chasm is aroused Produced by light of tint and shade A fissured yawn reflecting scenes And mockery to tease the light Her opulence has been defined Eight word challenge contest Sponsored by John Hamilton August 17, 2018
