Hi Seeker, Enjoyed this poem. A few thoughts about it. "Zen Mode" delves into the theme of life's impermanence. It contrasts a deep longing with the truth that experiences are fleeting, emphasizing that we cannot relive any moment. The poem suggests acceptance of change, using the metaphor of a river to illustrate life's continuous flow. The serene response to this realization—smiling, yawning, and moving on—highlights the freedom in embracing transience. Lovely!. Cheers, Don

enjoyed the subtle depth to your words. I like that phrase: 'we cannot cross the same river twice.' Nonchalance is not apathy, it's just going with the flow--huge difference.
