Your Love

At seven sixteen, I heard the first bird sing. You're still asleep with breaths steady and even. I'm drinking my tea while birds are on the wing. Nature's beauty this morn competes with heaven. When I see rising sun reflected on dew, The way scarlet skies lights fire in your eyes, As sweet birds begin to sing I think of you, With love in your eyes each morn when we arise. Through these many years I feel love in your touch, I see it in many things you do for me. I hear it in your deep voice I love so much. Let us share our love throughout eternity. I know your gentle touch with your soft embrace. I rejoice in the joy glowing from your face. 2-10-20 Italian sonnet consists of 14 lines and 2 stanzas with eleven syllables in each line. The first stanza is 8 lines and it is known as the octave and the second stanza is the 6 line sestet.

Absolutely beautiful my friend. There is a certain enchantment to hearing birds singing at sunrise, especially when you get to share that enchantment with one you love. One of my favorite times of day and you have captured the essence of love and nature perfectly.
