The only thing God can't do is fail.

When I was sick, Alone and afraid, Who beside my bedside stayed? You did. When my feelings hurt, To the very core, Who dried my tears and stayed some more? You did. When anger burned, Within my heart, Who stayed my rage, did peace impart? You did. When bitterness infused my soul, I ran away, I left the fold. Who waited patiently for me? Who reached out to gather me, Back to arms that ached for me, Back to a heart that comforts me? You did. For Repent and Believe Contest by Regina McIntosh

I love what P.S. AWTRY said <3 I agree. I was thinking just the other day when I was reading some of the faith based poems on here that it would be a wonderful resource to have them in print. I love old fashioned, wonderful paper and ink books. I like to carry my books out into the garden, or read them on a road trip. The poems on here are varied and awesome, but if they were classed in different groupings into book form, how wonderful!

Yes He did! I think Poetry soup could do anthologies by different topics. Wouldn’t a devotional collection be nice to have? This one would be great in it :)

This is a clever write, is it an adaptation of Ann Taylor's poem 'My Mother'? That was one of my favorite poems and made me cry when I was little and reading my big sister's poetry books! Well done! Hugs to you my sweet friend <3
