You
You, were on my mind today
Once upon a time, you were special
But, I soon discovered you weren't
You were like all the others
A brain damaged, me person
Not caring about anything, but you
A typical product of my generation
You didn’t love anything, but you
Treated your children like possessions
Doing nice things for people, for the reward
You were a fraud in everything you did
Your religion, a social club
Your spouse a life support system for a wallet
You thought your silly job was your life
Only seeing the world as material to be gained
Fearing aging and death
You couldn't wait until your parents died
Stabing anyone in the back
You'd destroy any life for power and greed
Now, you're all alone, with your cat
Hating and blaming everyone, but you
