Yesteryear

Youthful moments, fleeting young love swoons from the past yellowed portraits remain yesterday’s songs linger yet as life goes, we sail years mark a fleet of days yielding to time and age. A Pleaides Poem 10/5/2022

A bit of research tells me this form of poetry is only 23 years old. I'd never heard of this form but so glad I've come across it. "yesterday's songs linger.." Brilliant. Love this Laura. Each line separately - and as a whole - defines the title. Cheers - Gary

Y is my favorite of this group, yellowed portraits and yesterday’s song go well with an old couple like my wife Sharon and me.
