Words

WORDS My pen is poised above the page What shall I write about today? My creativity is flowing There is no way of knowing I write poetry about anything and everything Who knows what today will bring? I am a very emotional soul Writing poetry makes me feel whole Words can be happy or words can be sad Words can bring hope to the worst day you’ve had Words of encouragement are like a gift Words can help your whole mood lift Words are like magic and my pen is my wand All I can really do is respond To whatever is inspiring me And then just let the words be free.

ahhh wholeheartedly i agree....the page waiting for that triad of observation, inspiration, and imagination to roll across the page....and the joy when the dust settles and the lines come to life....loved it

ITERATE! ITERATE! ITERATE! ~ the poet's psychic materials ~ Like the artist smudged in every possible hue or the gardener ~ her hand-crafted flora offered-up in our earth-bound markets, selling the promise of elsewhere

Hello Sandra, Yes just let the words flow from the pen onto the blank page. I have a ghost writer. my ghost writer wakes me up to give me a title. Then I create a poem. Enjoy your day my friend.
