Judging our tensile strength As she furiously reams Nibbling away at our armor Undeterred by wishes or dreams Alternately pushing and pulling Rending our world with her blast Yanking us apart at the seams

Ohhh this gives me the shivers, Cona! I do feel the cold, and I'm already yearning for spring/summer to arrive. [Sitting inside near a warm fire makes a lovely picture, though!] All the best. // paul

I do love snow, but the cold weather that comes with it is sometimes a bit much. We experienced that in the extreme in Montana. The wind was sometimes so strong that if you didn't lean into it, you would be moving backward. : - )

I've always loved winter. As we age, however, excuses to stay inside become abundant. We have zero weather here today, but the larder is bare. Alas, we must brave the blast. Happy new year to you too, David.
