Wishes

When I wish upon a star Silently, wisely smiling down Whose power is of wide renown I feel love, though from afar. Wishing on dandelions Blowing hard on the fluffy seeds Certain they are magic, not weeds No care of my environs. I wish on candles each year Whilst all friends cheer me on loudly My big dreams kept secret proudly Waiting for hope to appear. I wish for more fairyland Where the night air subtly glistens, And even the wildlife listens, Life unites a merry band! January 9, 2020

Cindi, your poem "WISHES" is a beautiful and whimsical exploration of the power of wishes and the importance of dreaming big. Your words are both poetic and imaginative, and they transport us to a world of magic and possibility. I especially love the line "I wish for more fairyland / Where the night air subtly glistens, / And even the wildlife listens, / Life unites a merry band!" It's a reminder that anything is possible if we just believe. - Blessings, Daniel
