Good question. Wisdom takes more than knowledge actually wisdom comes from God. I like those hyacinths. I do enjoy their beauty and aroma. Just can't handle them in the house (gives me a headache). Thanks for sharing this one with us. Sara

Smart question. If wisdom had to choose, he'd ask what you'll use me for, whether a man seeks it or not. I enjoyed this poem so much, it's a fave.

This post has a real story behind it: In 2002 I was visiting Chinese universities and met the Archbishop of the Catholic church there who asked me if I were a philosopher. " Yes, with the Pythagorian meaning of it," I replied. " What do you mean," He inquired. I went on to explain that the word Philosopher is a compound word made from the words Philos and Sophia which mean Friend of Wisdom and then I added: " I am a friend of Wisdom but unfortunately, I do not know if Wisdom considers me a friend of hers." The Archibishop looked at me for a few moments and then smiling he said: " Obviously, you are a Philosopher." Thank you my dearest friend, Lasaad for your precious comment and for your fave!
