Will You
Tell me of colorful floating balloons and soaring kites and a magical afternoon.
Of Ice cream and cotton candy, and friendly faces, each smiling and happy.
Share with me hope and possibilities, things that cancel all I have become.
Tell of innocent children and all they imagine, creating stories for all or some.
Refresh my being and wash my pain with the breath of great anticipation, for I am drawn and hungry from the mundane succulents I face.
So good friend, tell me, I want release from this strife.
Tell me of things worth being for, your words will save my life.
So tell me..
