Who I Am

Travelin' the backroads, Searchin' for sunshine, Never lookin' back as freight trains wrecked Saw people screamin' people dyin' Felt my heartstrings ripped, In ways that made me cry... But through it all Lookin' back now Those thrills those chills Those foolish spills made me... Who I am today Those thrills those chills Those foolish spills made me... Who I am today 11/4/17

Hello James - I found this entry well thought out and true that yesterday makes us who we are today. I also very much like the repetition because I find that element to have power and impact. Well done and stated. Thank you for sharing.

Life has its challenges , Lessons learned, sleepless nights, broken hearts , mental breakdowns, miserable come downs :( my life. Today I have gratitude for the experience, respect the reason my parents had rules.

G'day James … you know James, I reckon life is like that bird or animal that crosses back and forth across the road. There's close calls and big rewards - I enjoyed this lyric - Lindsay

Thanks Al...this was a personal write, my life has been filled with cringe-worthy & glorious moments, I have travelled a wild road, with no regrets, blessings have followed me every step, my Guardian Angel, St. Therese of the Little Flower always by my side...

"Looking back now," is usually bitter-sweet, yet you say all of it helped make U. That is ACCEPTANCE, a hard-to-achieve balance, maturity, and comfort of the "is-ness" of the Present. Am I reading too much my ear Brother James? shalom, shalom Man of Goodwill. amen

Very well written. That repetition at the end is absolutely brilliant. You are a good man, dear.

Who are you indeed? A decent man I would guess at, James. You wear your heart on your sleeve without bravado or boast -- always the sign of an honest person! Enjoyed this for lots of reasons -- all good ones! My very warmest regards, James. :) john
