We'Re Fair Dinkum Dancing Tonight

WE’RE FAIR DINKUM DANCING TONIGHT We’re fair dinkum dancing tonight, oh what a beautiful sight, the rain’s pouring down - there’s mud all around. We’re fair dinkum dancing tonight. We’re fair dinkum dancing tonight, the music has set us alight, and it’s long overdue - us getting wet through. We’re fair dinkum dancing tonight. I don’t give a damn for the banks. I don’t care a less that I’m bust. I’m just so happy to hear what I hear, that’s finally settling the dust. And Oh what a wonderful smell. There’s nothing like it on the land, where blue sky and heat near had us beat that’s why you must understand. We’re fair dinkum dancing tonight, oh what a beautiful sight, the rain’s pouring down - there’s mud all around. We’re fair dinkum dancing tonight. We’re fair dinkum dancing tonight, the music has set us alight, and it’s long overdue - us getting wet through. We’re fair dinkum dancing tonight. I can’t see the stars or the moon. I can’t see for tears in my eyes. They’re tears of joy that go with a smile, so believe me it’s not a surprise. We’re fair dinkum dancing tonight.

What a gleeful treat! I can relate to the joy rain can offer when it has been long awaited. Would love to hear it played to music Lindsay! : )

Hello Connie … when we lived in Sunraysia, a drought persisted for ten years and up in the drier country up north, I thought someone put me on the moon, so yes, when the drought broke, everything lifted - I'd love to hear a tune too Connie, but I'm tone deaf and non musician - thanks again Connie - Lindsay
