And therefore you met him in the street All drenched up, the untimely rain Staggered before you and bowed to know How far have you walked the lane Miles after miles, for trillions of years Have you walked the lanes of life No surrogate mother waited for him No crimson rose offered to be his wife Forever they love, forever they walk Even under the starlit sky they talk
