There is a lot of pressure on us to participate in this custom of gift giving. I am very lucky it's also my birthday, so I just take a bye on gift giving this day. Really any day is just as good for being nice to someone.

Valentine's day a red rose bring and then see what passion begin. Or is this just wishful thinking. Days long ago remembering. But details I'm now forgetting. Tony.

Dear Jan, I just had the pleasure of reading your poem, and I must say, it’s truly captivating. The vivid imagery of the “Blossoms of Scarlet Red” and the emotional journey of the protagonist are beautifully portrayed. The poem elegantly captures the essence of love, fear, and hope. It’s a wonderful testament to your skill as a poet. - Blessings, Daniel!

it not something I would advocate snipping them from a flower bed! hugs Jan xx

Even worse if they're taken off a grave, not a good way to propose. Tom

It guess it shows a bit of ingenuity to snip them from a flower bed... but the future doesnt look too rosy does it if he has no money! hugs Jan xx

Truly a lot going on here. He’s strapped for cash and a student, yet intent on proposing with a blossom from a garden bed. Cute, still sounds premature. Hopefully she is smarter than he is and sweet about it. Nice!

thanks Kim, it's a bit of a nonsense rhyme really lol, yes strapped for cash and proposing with stolen flowers isn't the best start for a marriage lol:-) hugs Jan xx

The color of those blossoms are gorgeous. This is a very good write for such a difficult form.
