Unique Unicorn
"Unique Unicorn"
enchanted wings caress supple mane of snowflake white
a pointed horn atop my head illuminates eyes at night
a trip beyond pink puffy clouds to purchase on my way
one silver star shining for P.D. on her special birthday.
being a unique unicorn soaring above golden Moon
breezing through wild winds watching lovers swoon
I plucked the brightest red rose and sprinkled it with love
hugs and kisses for a friend whose heart's pure as a dove.
her star is fashioned in the heavens easily to see
as she peers out her window, it winks, she'll know its from me
my powerful hooves will gather perfumed scents so pleasing
upon my back I'll carry her a negligee so teasing.
since I dwell beyond the Planets my thoughts I'll always send
to a cherished lady who never plays pretend
someday she'll want to visit me when she's feeling forlorn
and I will be her bff ,, her unique unicorn.
