I was sitting in church this morning (4/8/2018), thinking how much I loved my wife.  The whole piece came to me almost intact.  As i was a service that members of the congregation could bear their testimony or thier witness in (what the LDS refer to as a Fast and Testimony mtg), I read the poem.  Slightly changed it while writing it here.

The old gal next to me Doesn't move too fast anymore, But she's always been beside me... I can't imagine what for. The old guy next to her Doesn't move very fast either; Would rather not be without her... Walking slowly together. We look the same direction; Pushing, pulling each other forward, Towards an unseen destination- Towards a hoped-for destination. If the Good Lord's willing, We'll keep progressing together, Hand-in-hand slowly traveling Step-by-step forever. We'll look the same direction; Pushing, pulling each other forward, Towards that unseen destination- Towards that hoped-for destination.
