Look at me, look how things have changed Don’t know how life got so rearranged Didn't see it coming, took a while to see (chorus) Know it was hard, times were tough We had it all and thought it was enough Our love ran so deep It took a while, for us to see We were drifting apart trying to be free.. And it took a while to see Took a while to find that peace we searched for But what we made we both adore Think we can agree, it’s as it should be (chorus) Know it was hard, times were tough We had it all and thought it was enough Our love ran so deep It took a while, for us to see We were drifting apart trying to be free.. Been there and lived this with my wife of 40ty yaers. She died in 2009 . I would relive it all again,good and bad times just to look into her eyes once more. You've inspired me to write a poem on change today. Thank you for your poem Shawn. Be Happy.
