Today -

Moments mingled and merged,

into a messy masterpiece

Aware -

Pastel thoughts and patience,

were pieced together with prayers

. . Creating hours of calm . .

Tomorrow -

Tenderness will tangle around time,

teaching me to appreciate today

Even a masterpiece can be messy, many things, blessings, gifts of today. "A feeling of contentment, even when moments are messy" I love this line especially, I feel it too. Beautiful sentiments and alliteration! xhugsx

You are so adept in alliterative verse, dear Brandy! This is a lovely piece. Life may be messy. Still if we think of the blessings that surround, we have greater reason to stay content. That's the only way to make life happy. "Pastel thoughts and patience, were pieced together with prayers . . Creating hours of calm . ." Patience and prayers together is a wonderful combination.

I love this dear Brandy.. The use of metaphors, such as "moments mingled and merged into a messy masterpiece," paints a vivid picture of life's complexity and the beauty that can be found within it. The imagery of pastel thoughts pieced together with prayers evokes a sense of serenity and mindfulness.
