To Live Another Day
Wars of terror doctrine burn unchecked,
the innocent are dying to live their way.
Nations strive their citizens to protect,
to live another day.
Each man embraces one held divine,
in common message to all man they say.
Yet hatred for those of differing shrine,
to live another day.
Humanities bounty deemed a curse,
racial divide continues to stay.
No melody great holds one verse,
to live another day.
The world so small, a family of one,
must learn from the past in error of way.
Life is a gift shared to be wasted by none,
to live another day.
Life, love and peace, a plea we must ask,
may the world live in each his own way.
Peaceful coexistence an achievable task,
to live another day.
