To A Friend
Well, I can't say I don't admire you.
It's got to be hard being a pillar of Reality.
- But if you're open to those of us
Who live half in the world of dreams,
I'd just like to say that it wouldn't be unwise
To develop some senseless addiction for yourself,
Just to counterbalance all that stone.
The sea swallows the mountains, you know.
