Tire Swing
Listen to poem:
Just a tire on a rope,
hangin from a limb in the yard,
No big thing.
But this sight is special
for those who learn life lessons
from a tire swing.
You can do it, just hang on,
Your turn now to ride upon,
the tire swing.
I will push ,but not to high,
Your not ready to reach for the sky
on the tire swing.
Sit in the tire or ride on top,
Drag your feet when you want to stop
this tire swing.
Spinning around or swinging out,
Making choices is what life is about
on the tire swing.
Dreaming and hoping
as you glide to and fro,
There is so much more for you to know,
all alone on this tire swing.
Just a tire on a rope,
hangin from a limb in the yard ,
No big thing.
But this sight is special
for those who learned life lessons
from the tire swing.
