Threes
I think that I shall never see
A number lovely as a three
A three who oddly touches two
Against the number’s even view
A three that looks at four all day
And to the seven far away
A three that you could never share
Unless two friends you truly care
Upon whose sum now waits the nine
Or maybe six in double time
Math that’s hard for fools like me
At least know one plus one plus one makes three
