This Juggernaut

The Moon comes early to the sky tonight She hides behind the clouds, just out of sight, her shadowed features softened by the white She secretly looks on as he spreads languidly out on the sea And longs to turn to ash beneath his stare but never more than flashes will she dare so he burns past her, ever unaware But what is sought, another's got for Earth has caught this juggernaut She'll do what must be done to earn his light! If large is what he likes, then large she'll be And waxing full, she'll fill the sky they share 'til Earth is but a past that he's forgot
