This Dark and Twisted World

As I walk in this dark and twisted world, the sights I see make me want me want to hurl. All around me, people smoking drugs and it makes my head swirl. With all the violence and depression, hopelessness is the expression on the faces of the young who really need a good impression. Instead, I'm the baddest, I'm the best, we are failing a crucial test. So much sadness and sorrow, will there be a tomorrow. It makes my mind twirl and want to exit this dark and twisted world. Everybody's right then why is the world going so wrong. People are walking around with blinders on. Hunger, starvation and there shouldn't be any, for God has Blessed this land of plenty. But we are trapped in pride, lust and greed and there's no way to win, when you practice any of the seven deadly sins. We can't see the forest for the trees and it's about to bring the whole world to it's knees. Everyone wants to hog all the glory, just take a look back in time and it will tell the whole story. Although I feel I'm in a dark and whirling funnel, I must remember, there is light at the end of the tunnel. For our Father knew from the start, that we all have sin in our hearts and this was going to bring about bad behavior and this is why He sent us a savior. So we can come to Lord Jesus with all our worries and woes, for He will take away the darkness, the sadness and replace them with the colors of the rainbow. He is our Father and our Lord and all your sins He can pardon, so lets turn it around people because He's about to weed the garden.
