A simple musing.. Just some thoughts I had today, whilst at work..

Some songs remain unwritten, so many unsung. Sometimes there are words, but no background music so I curse this refrain. Unable to find the perfect blend My art remains unappreciated, my soul blames my spirit, my spirit my heart, my heart my mind, yet my mind remains mute. Too fatigued to fight, constantly pondering why do I let myself create a vocabulary of unspoken language where a brittle bridge of mulberry memories still stain. Why do I remain in perpetual pain? I know I cannot sing in tune, nor play in an orchestra, but, If you knew the verses for these violin strings, then would you sing.....  With me? Too feel Too believe Too be heard Maybe then, I too, will know if I'm understood - bringing an end to this ebony eye existence. Only the birds know my ballad, but this morning they have no melody, maybe they have forgotten the chorus to our chant, so now my anthem of angst is surreal silence. Why do they supress the lullabies? Lyric less in lament, I'm a nightingale surrounded by a murder of crows, and I see cats prowling, they seem to sense my breathless beats. Yet, I know in a playground of pitfalls, the canvass must bleed in a brush of emotions, so blank pages portray lyrics of a sincere symphony, blasting in colourful sounds, merging forever because the world is the music, my life a mere note hoping it is never abandoned.

Yes, I definitely would sing with you but my voice would be too cracked to flow in. Do you know how many unwritten screams and silent torments you have written without knowing? A lot. Sometimes we forget the chorus or the whole song and that's okay. I think the world is the note and you the music. There's so much the world would write about you. Another endless creator. Cheers silent. You always inspire me.

SO, I can identify with having thoughts like this at work. You have a true creative soul and perhaps work does not take advantage of all the beauty and loveliness that exists in your heart? Being stifled in any environment is very painful for an artist. Of course, we sometimes have to work to support ourselves and do not always always have the luxury of the perfect place. I hope you find your comfort zone...but of course the rest of us are lucky in that we get to read about your feelings! On the other hand, this could just be musings that have nothing to do with work. Life itself presents episodes where we don't feel in tune with what life provides. It's a bit sad and painful and probably well known to many people here.

I have sometimes wondered about my own songs unwritten, and their unknown melodies. I love the verse that begins, 'Only the birds know my ballad.' Lovely work, Silent One.

Love the line: I'm a nightingale surrounded by a murder of crows. Some songs remain unwritten, so many unsung...how many are missed & perhaps the blank space on life’s canvas has meaning… Only the birds know my ballad, but this morning they have no melody…so many interesting thought, dear one! Outstanding, Silent One. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts today. I found your poem engaging and thought provoking with your question, "Why am I in perpetual pain? I liked the lyrical nature of your poem and especially liked: Yet, I know in a playground of pitfalls, the canvass must bleed in a brush of emotions, ....forever. My musician brother once said "All artists, musician, poets, and writers feel the same pain and questioning...part of the process. Hmmmm. Excellent poem

The unwritten words speak eloquently, my friend. Emotions you weaved describe laments of heart enhancing the essence of your theme, SO: --why do I let myself create a vocabulary of unspoken language where a brittle bridge of mulberry memories still stain. Why do I remain in perpetual pain---Excellent, as always.

If this is considered simple, thn i dont know what is simple, because it is soulful and so very poignant and touching. But ofcourse thats the power of your poetry, you dont just weave words you weave thoughts in the most poetically captivating manner. And your use of metaphors and how youve painted imagery too is so very catchy and moving! I especially love the opening as well as how youv written “ brittle bridge of mulberry memories still stain.” Ah those alliterations! So seamless “ I know I cannot sing in tune, nor play in an orchestra, but, If you knew the verses for these violin strings, then would you sing..... With me?” this made me tear up!

How touching and sincere it is, and it also has this lyrical touch , like it sounds like one those songs, that i would listen to on repeat and still not be bored! So good! So resonating! You always leave me speechless! “ Only the birds know my ballad, but this morning they have no melody, maybe they have forgotten the chorus to our chant,” aww thats so sad! Sometimes no one understands silence and whats unspoken, and only nature feels and can empathize with us. “ I'm a nightingale surrounded by a murder of crows, and I see cats prowling, they seem to sense my breathless beats.” thats powerful! Fragility and how youve brought death there with descriptive metaphors is very impressive but sad! Sigh! Breathless beats! I feel through your words! Sigh! “ because the world is the music, my life a mere note hoping it is never abandoned.” hope so too! Perfect ending! This is one of those poems that would make any reader feel so much! Love it! Deep musings there!
