Author's Notes: This verse poem on "The Sacred Heart" is another co-write that my wife, Ingrid, and I had most recently worked on together. The Sacred Heart The Sacred Heart Shines radiantly With all colors Which are not known On the earthly plane. Its radiant warmth Is beyond all dimensions And cannot be described By any earthly measure. Its size and mystical reach Are beyond the person, And when you are open— You can feel it, too. Let your own heart Grow beyond any measure So you can touch The soul of Others. The only connection Between souls on Earth Is the Sacred Heart, And this beyond all measure.
