The Roses Will Return

The Maker Of All Things adorned my lawn with ravishing displays Of colorful flowers and a myriad of gorgeous roses in fine bouquets! Alas, the season was so very fleet and those beauties are now gone; But I know the roses will return come next spring to grace my lawn! Not only did I appreciate their beauty but so did an occasional butterfly, And flitting humming birds visited to sip sweet nectar the roses did supply! Tho' gone for a time, I know The Master Gardener will see to their return, So I can enjoy the elegant rose and the peace it brings for which I yearn!

Absolutely love this beautiful poem dear Robert. So well written with great flow and rhyming. So delicate like the rose - and it’s my favourite flower! Such lovely imagery with the butterflies and humming birds as well. Truly delightful my friend. Loved it! Thank you for such a lovely read Blessings to you. :)

Sweet, Robert! Perhaps the birds will return this winter too to grace whatever you have, green-brown lawn or snow-covered garden. (Who knows these days?)

Thanks muchly, Gershon. Yep, birds mooch at my bird feeder but that's OK. My dear old cat, Jeff, and I enjoy watching them. And strangely enough, a robin or so stick around here during the winter. Probably to lazy to make the trek south! Good on you always, - Bob

One of your best, Bob..Scintillating verses! Plus, yo acknowledged how God and other creatures He made interracial with gory of roses! Amazing isn’t it, how roses have been returning for centuries. They do not need climate geniuses to grow. In fact, those climate geniuses who know better than the Creator…need to retire today! God can handle the universe, very well, thank you.thank you for this lovely creation. Pangie
